Learn About Memberships
As a living endowment to cancer research and education, members of the Royal Dames pledge $2,500 for life membership, payable over a period of 10 years. Each member commits to an endowment of $2,500 with payments of $250 per year over a ten-year period.
Members also commit to participating in annual fundraising activities, specifically attending the Annual Tiara Ball. Pledges make up a large portion of our income. In addition, we have fundraisers at which community participation is warmly welcomed and very much needed.
Why You Should Join The Mission
The Ocala Royal Dames is made up of over 240 vital, creative women. These carefully selected philanthropists reflect a broad spectrum of talents and leadership. Essentially, they are creative, farsighted, oriented to the betterment of the community and dedicated to the organization’s mission.
The organization is entirely voluntary, and no monies are utilized for staff or office space. Our members are dedicated to making a difference in our community and in fighting this dreaded disease. We will not rest until cancer has been vanquished.
Active Members
Are members in the process of fulfilling their $2,500 Pledge and are obligated to purchase one Tiara Ball (Signature Event) ticket per year (estimated at $150/per ticket).
- Lady Dame: $100 Annual Pledge (<31 years of Age)
- Royal Dame: $250 Annual Pledge
Life Member
All members that have fulfilled their $2,500 pledge and pay a $75.00 Annual Pledge.
Grand Dames Life Member
Members that fulfilled their $2,500 pledge and have been a member for at least 10-years and contributes $100 per year. Grand Dames have all privileges of pledge members.
Corporate Member
Is a corporation that pays a $1,000 annual membership fee with 2 designated representatives and the following benefits:
- Recognition on Website, along with link to their website,
- Designated Representatives are invited to all events,
- Signage at their place of business,
- Newsletter Recognition in (all), Company Spotlight (1) and testimonial (1)
- Primary Corporate Table at Annual Meeting, ShopTalk and Other Events
